He has been keeping and breeding Discus and other cichlids,reptiles, and other critters for over 30 Years. He is also the owner of SimplyDiscus.com, one of the world’s most popular and respected Discus websites and forum. As an administrator of the forum under the username brewmaster15, he spends free time helping discus enthusiasts and novices keep their fish happy and healthy. When not playing with the fishes, or online at SimplyDiscus, you may find Al taking wildlife pictures, digging in the dirt around the yard, tromping through the woods, or building this or that with his family.
Our history
In 2009, I was approached by Mal Davidson the owner of an Australia based Company, Australian Blackworms, about trying a cool new product he produced...Freeze Dried Blackworms. At the time hobbyists only had access to Live Blackworms. This product was a game changer in many ways and I was so impressed by it that I offered to sell it in the USA and Canada. And so started a great partnership that allowed SimplyDiscus LLC to offer Freeze Dried Blackworms to Hobbyists North America for the first time.----Al Sabetta, Owner.
