Store protected from moisture, oxygen, and heat. A good suggestion is to store product in the refrigerator in an airtight container and take out only what you will need for a week, this can be stored at Room Temp in a ziplock bag or other container. Never use wet fingers to reach into the bag or leave the bag open.

Because these worms are freeze dried and almost all of the water is removed in the processing, there may appear to be less in hand. Feed your fish sparingly at first and be sure that all food is consumed  before feeding more. A general rule of thumb here I personally use for larger fish such as discus is  1 cube per  2 adult fish  per feeding, 2 cubes per  3-4  juvenile(3-4"fish). Besure there  is no uneaten food after 15-20 mins

As for how many times  a day to feed  your fish, much is  personal preference here and  subjective, but 2-3  good feedings  of quality foods like our Freeze Dried Blackworms  is a  fair baseline  provided filtration and water quality is adequate.

Soaking and  hydrating worms  first is not required and may cause  loss of nutrients from worms. Misconceptions  about  Freeze Dried Foods causing bloat abound  on the web, however,  if you  feed a  dry fish food to any extremely hungry fish they can over eat quickly. This includes pellets and  flakes. If you have a  fish experiencing this  you should  evaluate  your  fishing regiment, stocking levels, and  the health of a  fish .

The exception here is when feeding baby fish and fry. Though we  do not recommend soaking  our  freeze dried blackworm products normally, It is often  suggested to do so when feeding  freeze dried  products to very young fish (baby fish aka fry) as it aids in digestion.

Six months under ideal  storage conditions ( dry, cool, etc) ..Additional shelf should be possible  if stored  in the Refrigerator   or better  yet, Freezer in an  airtight  container.Store protected from moisture, oxygen, and heat for longest shelf life.
